“Join us for a fun, free event in March as part of our Spring Arts Spree month. This diverse and delightful afternoon includes culturally-focused demonstrations such as brush painting and origami, language conversation tables, and performances of folk music and dance including flamenco guitar, salsa and samba dancing, as well as qigong exercises. Parking is free on Saturdays and there is a lot adjacent to the event.”

Trucks on 2/11 include: Devilicious, Thai 1 On, Super Q, Opera Caffe, Tabe BBQ, Curiocity, Groggy’s and maybe more.
10% of all proceeds are donated to Barnard Elementary School.

An arsonist set fire to several school buildings at Alice Birney Elementary last month. The Birney and San Diego community are rallying together and hosting a Food Truck Rally this Friday, February 3 from 3:30-7 p.m. in the New Vision Christian Church parking lot (across the street from the Birney field on Park Blvd). Trucks: Tabe BBQ, Food Farm, New York On Rye, Groggy’s, and Mrs. Frostie trucks will be there and donating 20% of the nights earnings to the fire relief fund.
