San Diego is getting a Banh mi truck!!!!!!  I am so excited!!

 

They are called Hoangie’s Banh Mi On Wheels.

Their premiere grand opening will be at the 57 Degrees food truck event on Feb 17, and their grand opening is Feb 18 at 6554 Ambrosia Dr in Mission Valley.
What’s with the angry guy on their logo? I love that…. quirky!!

Corner Cupcakes announced that their last day of operation will be Saturday, January 28, 2012.

This was the statement on their Facebook page:

“Dear Family, Friends and Followers,
We would like to thank you all for your love, support and encouragement. The past two years have been amazing and would not have possible without you. We have decided to close Corner Cupcakes to pursue other dreams. This will be our last week of operation and our final day will be on Saturday, January 28th. Again thank you for all your support. Lots of Love, Corner Cupcakes”

We are very sad to hear about this.  Their cupcakes were delicious and the ladies were always nice. SDFT wishes them the very best in their future endeavors!!
