Food Truck Friday in Balboa Park

If you are visiting San Diego for the first time, you must visit Balboa Park! The best time to go is Friday during their weekly food truck gathering. Take an Uber or Lyft (new users get free rides using these links).

Spend an evening on the farm with family and friends at the annual Summer Food Truck Festival & Campout. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Enjoy live music from Calico Ridge on the Bates Stage from 5:00 – 9:00. Snow’s Pony rides, petting corral, and Kidz Zone make this a fun event for the entire family. Spend the night on the farm! RV’s and tents are welcome for just $20 for the night.

Bring your appetite for the tastiest food on wheels when the 6th annual Gourmet Food Truck Festival comes to Del Mar. Enjoy a variety of some of the hottest eats in Southern California as 40 food trucks are expected, all in one location, with gourmet chefs serving their eclectic bests at super prices (most items $6-$10).

Pair your food items with several cold brews on tap in the Craft Beer Festival, featuring over 100 craft brews.

SD Foodie Fest at Qualcomm Stadium: July 8-10, 2016

The Great American Foodie Fest returns to San Diego at Qualcomm Stadium on July 8th-10th, 2016, showcasing 50+ of the country’s best food trucks. There will be carnival rides, beer garden, eating contests, and live entertainment.

Participating food trucks will include Southern California favorites such as Middle Feast Food Truck, winners of season 5 of Food Network’s “The Great Food Truck Race;” Phil The Grill (The Jay-Z of BBQ) featured on Food Network’s “Chopped”, Devilicious featured on Food Network’s Great Food Truck Race Season 2, and FryFry Food Truck featured on Cooking Channel and many more.
